Giant Launch!

Here is a test I worked on with Giant a while ago. I'm really happy with it, they polished it off so well.

Also they had their launch on Thursday the 26th, it was a fantastic night and the reel went down pretty well I thought. They also got nominated for an IFTA for another piece they worked. I'm really proud to be associated with these guys and to be lucky enough to also have them as my good friends and I wish them all the best.

Happy New Year

Greetings !

Wanna wish you all well in this new year, I'm sitting on a tonne of sketchbook drawings from Halloween and Christmas that I cant finish now that its over oh well ! I sketched these dogs ages ago during the summer and gave them a lick recently. Mainly testing things out some of them are pen cleaned and marker with some added stuff... I have another page almost done I'll add it soon. Also viking pages in the making !

I worked on this piece a couple of months back when I was in Giant Creative. It was so much fun to do this test it came about after a random drawing i did we sat down and boarded it out that day and got to work. Very productive!

Giant are launching officially in January and have already put some work up on their vimeo account you should check it all out!

I have a bunch of drawings for this I went viking crazy for a while so I can start putting those pages together over the Christmas break. Show how it was made maybe! I'll get something more festive up before then too!

Happy Halloween!

Just some things i threw down one day wanting to do an animation test but being to lazy to do so. I got my wacom back from work so I'll be posting more soon. Sorry for the delay! Hope everyone has a great night!

News

Hey I'm sorry for the huge delay! I have been very busy! After finishing up a project with Giant I got an offer to work in Boulder Media for a while so I am in there doing backgrounds for a few Disney projects. I do miss my boys, and I will be back! but this was a great chance for me to learn the ropes in a bigger studio and so far it has been great, everyone is very friendly and extremely talented! I also visited Annecy and had a blast with the lads I really have to go there again.

I am using my tablet in work to speed myself up so I don't usually bring it home so my sketchbook has been keeping me busy lately so my stuff is pretty rough I'm sorry! I have been doing this random shape drawing lately where i map out a page of shapes or someone else does for me and then i do what i can with them, its a lot of fun and works some of the time, I think you can see it in one of the full pages I've put up. Along with some random doodles from when I had my tablet...

In my last two posts the images can't be clicked on to be viewed anyone know why? :S

sketchbook

I did these recently trying to mix up the way I draw, it was lots of fun. I had these brush markers from ages ago so I just threw colour onto them. I think ill start doing it more often to my sketchbook drawings but not as messy next time. My moleskin is finished I need to get a new one :( Also a stupid drawing I had lying around and some random shape thingys I did on Friday evening before I left work
